I guess it's a really late reply and you would have found out by now but in case you didn't, you just have to put the pressure cooker at a really high heat and leave it here until the first white ring pops up. After, you just have to reduce the heat to low/medium (you have to find this out yourself because different cooker have different firepower) so that it wouldn't build up more pressure. You have to turn down the heat after you see two rings or you'll burn your food.

    i'M FROM SPAIN, but I don't understand a thing.
    I bought fissler blue point, what must I do with rings? I don't know how to use it.How can I control when I only wanna the first ring? and the second ring?
    must I down the fire?????

  9. yes, all stainless steel interior and exterior. the cookstar base is completely encapsulated by stainless steel.
