  1. I own 3 AA canners. True, the gasket-less seal is nice. Unlike the Red Chinese Presto canners, it will definitely keep your heat more stable, which can mean better processing.

  3. I just bought a Browning 2 burner camp stove. It is made by Camp Chef. 30,000 btu s per burner. I think just for comfort it was worth the purchase not to mention we started to melt the coating on our cabinets last year. The stove sells for 99.99 at bass pro shop the camp chef brand (it had 45000 btus per burner) sold for 180.00. Our kitchen stove has a "power burner" with 12500 btus so 30000 btus was plenty for getting the canner going. Now I just need to replace the presto canner.

  4. I would avoid propane. You will need to use higher heat as I have cooked with propane in the past and I didn't like it. I tended to burn food a lot faster using propane than natural gas or electric. Just my two cents.

  6. @ds10363 yeah there is enough clearance on my stove from the top of the pressure canner to the the bottom of the over the range microwave. No i havent had my gauge tested, it is prolly smart to though. i would say the biggest thing to consider is that this canner is made in usa, and has to gaskets, which is a huge advantage over the presto canner

  7. I'm thinking about getting one of these. Will they fit on most stove tops or should you use them on a propane cooker outside? Also did you have your pressure guage tested like is recommended? What should I consider when making my purchase decision? Thank you for sharing.

  11. He Paula, long time now see :) ...sorry I haven't been putting up new videos lately... I really love my 921, but If I could of done it all over again, I probably would of gone even bigger than the 921, during the thanks giving week sales I canned 85lbs of turkey, that turned into 3batches through the canner which resulted in about 12+ hours of work between cutting up the meat, and monitoring the canner during processing

  12. @Ziva4Freedom I love it, I only wish I would of gotten one of the bigger models, even though the 921 is huge compared to some of the canners out there, the extra capacity would be helpful... I guess one day when I am rich I will get the 945 or whatever the biggest model is :)
