How long should I cook my quail in my electric pressure cooker?

Question by CoolRod: How long should I cook my quail in my electric pressure cooker?
I wanna cook some cornbread dressing with quail (instead of chicken) for easter. How long should I cook my quail in the pressure cooker, or stove top? I want some broth left over for it to mix into my dressing. Thanks for your help.

quail in the pressure cooker?

Seriously?

You're wrong on both counts - sorry.

You don't cook quail in the pressure cooker or on the stove top.

You bake it. Stuff it, place it on chopped carrot, onion, celery, bayleaf, thyme, garlic & a couple cups of broth bake it partially covered with foil & when the thermometer (stuck into the stuffing) reads 150 - you pull the foil off & bake another few minutes like 20 or until the thermometer stuck into the stuffing reads 170 then take it out of the oven - let rest 15 minutes & enjoy!

  1. Quail is too tender to cook in a pressure cooker. Roast it in the oven, covered'. Should take about an hour baked or stove top'.
