  1. Utter foolishness. You try to pull the plug of like that just after removing it from the flame, You will end up with your face fried up & ready to be served. Best way is to immerse the cooker half way in water (not too cold). in 5-10 sec, it'll be done!

  2. Best and safest way to quick release is to run the pot under cold water in the sink. Much better than pulling the plug off.
